The company began its operations in 2005, initially specializing in excavation and architectural works. Over time, it expanded into several construction-related sectors, including quarry supplies (sand and gravel), as well as the trading of cement and steel, eventually establishing its own gravel factories and quarries.

Since 2013, AL-Abnoudi has broadened its commercial portfolio to include quarry and sand supplies, sanitary and electrical tools trading, and various building enhancement materials such as paints and ironmongery.

In 2022, the company invested in advanced contracting by launching a gravel crusher plant and quarry to meet both local and international market demands. By 2023, AL-Abnoudi had also entered the road paving sector, including asphalt and interlock paving, executing major projects in collaboration with the Directorate of Roads and Transport and the Egyptian Drainage and Irrigation Company.
